01

Unpacking & Conditioning

  • Carefully open the packaging to avoid damaging the rug.
  • Lay the rug flat on a surface and let it acclimate for 1–2 weeks, allowing the fibers to relax.
02

Regular Cleaning

A simple vacuuming once a week is enough. Thanks to the high lanolin content in the wool, the rug naturally repels stains and moisture.

03

Stain Management

  • If the rug gets soiled, hand-wash with simple soap and cold water.
  • A soft brush can help lift the stain.
  • For anything more, take it to a local cleaner experienced with rugs.
  • Never put it in the dryer.
04

Rotation & Protection

  • Rotate or flip the rug periodically to even out wear.
  • Use protective pads under furniture legs.
05

Storage

  • Roll the rug with the fiber side facing inward.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and pests.
