Carefully open the packaging to avoid damaging the rug.
Lay the rug flat on a surface and allow it to acclimate for 1-2 weeks, letting the fibers relax.
A simple vacuuming once a week is adequate to care for the rug. (The high lanolin content of the wool, the rugs naturally repel stains and moisture.)
If/when the rug becomes soiled, simple soap and cold water with hand-washing is recommended.
You can use a brush to help to remove it.
Dry cleaning with a local cleaner that deals with rugs.
Do not put in the dryer.
Rotating/flipping your rug will even the wear and tear and give it a longer life.
Use protective pads under furniture legs.
Roll the rug with the fiber side inward.
Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and pests.
