How are the rugs made?

Our Black sheep hand-woven rugs are entirely handmade using traditional pedal loom techniques. We carefully select and dye the wool, which comes from our own sheep, and each piece is finished with meticulous attention to ensure durability and beauty.

Where do the materials come from?

The wool used in our rugs is sourced from sheep we raise on our farm, along with high-quality commercial fibers like Lincoln and Mohave wool. The dyes are natural, derived from regional plants, insects, and minerals, preserving ancient Zapotec techniques. We also offer a wide range of synthetic dyes for more versatility and precise color tones, allowing us to create unique rugs with distinctive colors, designs, and quality.

Do you offer shipping?
